"Buhari is a man of integrity,I found nothing after probing him"-Obasanjo

The former president of Nigeria,Chief Olusegun Obasanjo made it known yesterday that after probings of account,he found nothing unpleasant.
He made this known to national leaders of  the APC and Buhari himself when they paid him a courtesy call at his hilltop residence in the state capital,Abeokuta.
It would be recalled that Buhari headed the PTF,inaugurated in march 1995,under the regime of the nlate dictator,Gen Sani Abacha.The PTF was established to manage the fund accruable from the increase in the pump Price of Premium motor spirit,also known as petrol from N3.5N to N11.
But the PTF was scrapped  by Obasanjo on his assumption to office in 1999,the former president however set up a committee to investigate the account following allegations of N25b fraud in the agency.
Obasanjo told them yesterday that after he looked into the report given to him,that he found nothing incriminating against Buhari,and that nothing was amiss,instead the organization went from road building,net buying and all sort of developmental projects.
He added that he was shocked when he found out that the only problem was inconsistency in prices and all that,for instance mosquito net was given for N50 and in another N45,so he called Buhari then and said "Okay between me,You and God,was there any personal benefit for you?" and Buhari told him No,then he said that was the end of the matter.
Obasanjo however implored Buhari and other presidential candidates to address the nagging issues of insecurity in the country,economy and lack of infrastructure.
Speaking earlier Buhari promised to tackle corruption while the resources would be used to tackle infrastructural deficit,he also promised to give priority to security and fix the economy.
