Naya Rivera Apologizes for Racist comments

Who knew that such a funny statement could incite such an uproar?
When Naya Rivera was a guest host on the show-The View-She was asked to give her own opinion about showering,and she was asked if it is normal for one to shower at least three times daily.The Glee star laughed and said that Showering daily is "such a white People's thing"and that she does not shower daily.
This caused such an uproar that viewers took Rivera to task for the offhand remark,and showed their disapproval on twitter,one user wrote "When you tell the world,you shower every three days,that says more about you,not us,another person also added "Some things are better left unsaid" .
She even went on to quote one tweet she received from a user @retiredfilth who said "now white people are gonna think we don't shower daily,cos of Naya Rivera.
This huge controversy caused Naya to return to the scene of the crime The View,where she told everyone that she was just joking,and apparently they didn't really understand the joke.She went on to apologize,anyway the View co-host Nicolle Wallace told the viewers to back off cos Naya Is very clean.
