President Goodluck Jonathan calls for prayers ahead of 2015 election

This is the time for all Nigerians to seek the face of God and ask for his mercies.
President Goodluck Jonathan acknowledged this when he urged the congregation at Winners chapel Otta in Ogun state to pray for the success and peaceful conduct of the February election.
The president while attending Sunday service there today,admitted that the country was going through some challenges but noted that the situation would have been worse if not for the prayers of Nigerians.He said that he was sure that God will take control of the situation,despite the fears and predictions about the coming elections.
He commended the founder of the Winners chapel,Bishop David Oyedepo for his commitment to God's work and education in the country.
The congregation,led by Bishop David held a prayer session for the president,where they asked God for grace in order to enable him meet the demands of his office.
