"I planned my own Kidnap in order to extort Money from my parents"-Student

Belynda Chinwe Bosa,an undergraduate of Delta state University has been apprehended by the police for faking her own Kidnap.
It was reported that the student arranged her own kidnap with her lover George Ititie,who is also an undergraduate of the Institute of Management and Technology,Enugu (IMT) in order to extort money from her parents.
They initially demanded for 10million Naira from her parents but when the parents pleaded ,they reduced the amount to N5million.
The Parents,paid in N500,000 into an account in Eco bank branch in Port hacourt where they requested the money to be paid into,before nemesis caught up with them.
The suspects lodged into a hotel at Oyibo Axis of Port Hacourt,Rivers State after they received the ransome.
After various investigations,they were apprehended and taken to the Police command headquaters in Asaba,yesterday,where the state Police Public relations Officer,(PPRO), Dsp Celetina Kalu, revealed that the suspects were using one America Sunday Ogagawotu to establish contact with the girl's mother.
The student,Bosa,said that she regretted her Involvement in the abduction,speaking to the police she said "I am sorry for the stress I made my Parents to go through".
