"Mario Balotelli has a future in Liverpool,if........" -Liverpool manager

There has been speculations and controversies concerning the future of Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli, since he was left out of Saturday's FA Cup forth round tie against Bolton Wanderers.
The speculation intensified after it was noted that Mario has managed just two goals in 18 appearances in all competitions for the reds.So does he still have a future in Liverpool?
Liverpool manager,Brendan Rodgers addressed this issue, and insisted that Mario does have a future in Liverpool and that he expected the player to fight for a first-team place, since he rescinded his decision about selling him during the January transfer window.
Brendan stated that they gave Mario a chance, and they brought him in for this season so that he can show that he can play consistently at the top level. He acknowledged that it has been a difficult period for the player but there is no doubt he is a good boy.
"I have seen some clippings this morning saying that his future with Liverpool is over, but that is not true,we have shown here,a number of times with players that have been out of the fold for various reasons, that if they work hard in training, show the intensity and show the focus, then they have every chance of getting back in the team and not only getting back in,but staying in it.
The opportunity is there for Mario if he works hard, and the opportunity is not only here for Mario but for other players"The manager stated.
