Micheal Jackson burned in Pepsi ad.
On this day,January 27,in 1984,the greatest pop artist of all time,late Micheal Jackson also known as the king of pop had a serious fire accident that led to him being taken to the hospital for treatment.
He was 25 then,and he was entertaining the crowd,singing his "Billie Jean" for a Pepsi coca cola commercial in Los Angeles when the special effects went wrong.Three thousand fans saw a firework display erupt behind him,showering him in sparks and setting light to his hair.
Some studio audience members said he was so calm that they thought the incident was part of the act,a fan in the audience named Virginia Watson said that "He was so wonderful,he reassured people even when he was being taken away in a stretcher".
Micheal's brothers and crew helped him off the stage,and they rushed him to the hospital.
